Hey Evee ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and app at tryheyevee.com.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you create an account or use Hey Evee:

Name and email address
Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details)
Content you create or post inside the app (planner entries, circle posts)
Profile information you choose to share (bio, social media handles, niche)
Usage data to improve the app experience

How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your Hey Evee account
To process your membership payment through Stripe
To send you your welcome email and account-related communications
To provide personalized AI coaching through Evee
To improve our product and user experience

AI Coaching (Evee)

Hey Evee uses the Anthropic Claude API to power Evee, your AI business coach. When you chat with Evee, your messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Please do not share sensitive personal or financial information in your chats with Evee.

Data Storage

Your account information is stored securely in Airtable. Your content planner entries, preferences, and community posts are stored locally on your device and in our secure database. Payments are processed and stored by Stripe under their own privacy policy.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only with the third-party services necessary to operate Hey Evee:

Stripe — payment processing
Anthropic — AI coaching responses
Airtable — account data storage
Resend — transactional emails

Community Circle

When you post in the Mama Circle or VIP Circle, your name, profile photo initial, and post content are visible to other Hey Evee members. Your social media handles are only visible if you choose to add them to your profile. You can delete your own posts at any time.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. To request deletion of your account and data, email us at hello@heyevee.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Hey Evee is designed for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.

Cookies

Hey Evee uses local browser storage (localStorage) to save your app preferences and content locally on your device. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify members of significant changes by email. Continued use of Hey Evee after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
